HBAR Foundation & Google Marketplace Developers

https://workspace.google.com/marketplace — — Google Marketplace, for those that don’t know what this is— It’s were developers build and offer add-on apps for all of the Google Workspace Cloud Services.

When I search for “Hedera” or even “Hashgraph” in the Google marketplace, there are no results.

Below are reasons the HBAR Foundation should be directly contacting and directly marketing to “Google Marketplace” developers and providing financial assistance to integrate the Hedera network into as many of these Google add-on apps as possible.

  1. Many of these add-on apps already have a huge established client base. (Million+)
  2. Getting Google App developers involved with Hedera is a great indirect way to get Google (Alphabet Inc.) themselves more involved and motivated about the Hedera Network.
  3. Offering Financial assistance directly to Google App Developers will really create a ton of marketing opportunities. I can see the news release now, “Hedera is now integrated with the XYZ Google Cloud App ”.
  4. Just browsing through the current list of already deployed apps, I can think of plenty of potential usecases where the Hedera integration into these current apps could offer huge added value to the app builders themselves.

Let me give you just one example and scenario that comes to my mind.

https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/mailtrack_for_gmail/129668302705

This app above, “Mailtrack for Gmail” is developed by https://mailtrack.io/en/

It is currently being used by over 2 million users.

I can see a immutable notary service (Time/Date Logging & Proving service) added to this app as being a huge value to the app developer.

Think about this for a second, a modern day “Read Receipt” feature where users would have immutable proof that an email was “sent” or even “opened” up at a certain date and/or time.

I can see an “immutable notary service” plugged into almost all of Google services. Think about being able to provide proof that a document was uploaded to Google Drive at a certain time or date. HUGE!

Or even this idea, a Google add-on app which lets you record your Google sheet entries directly onto the Hedera network, again providing an immutable log of events.

I did some quick research on Mailtrack for Gmail and it’s a perfect candidate for the HBAR Foundation to approach and offer financial assistance to integrate Hedera Services.

Eduardo ManchĂłn, the companies CEO is the previous founder of Panoramio, which was acquired by Google many years back.

So, you see were I am going with this. Investing in Google App developers potentially could drive direct integration into Google cloud services, if the app is acquired by Google at some point in the future.

Actual “Business Development” and I mean “Boots on the Ground” out knocking on doors business development, just like Jordan Fried and Azeem Malik did to recruit the first big group of Council members is what will bring adoption to the developer community.

Thank you for your time.
